Use the scanner as a diagnostic, not a guarantee.

These terms govern use of API Bill Shield, provided by TJ NOVA LTD, a company registered in England and Wales under number 17308318. By using the public tool, you agree to use it lawfully and only with code, configuration and accounts that you own or are authorised to inspect.

What the tool does

The scanner applies local heuristics to identify patterns associated with exposed credentials, browser-side secrets, unrestricted keys, missing cost ceilings, repository history and long-lived service accounts. Results are informational. The tool does not connect to a provider account, revoke a credential, inspect live billing activity, enforce a spending limit or promise that every risk will be found.

Your responsibilities

You remain responsible for verifying findings, rotating exposed credentials, testing provider restrictions, maintaining backups and following the terms of each API provider. Do not use the tool to inspect another person’s systems without permission, to facilitate unauthorised access, or to upload malicious material. Because analysis is local, you should still redact live secrets whenever a representative sample is sufficient.

Availability and liability

We may change, suspend or withdraw the free public tool for maintenance, security or product reasons. To the maximum extent permitted by law, it is provided without warranties of uninterrupted operation, complete detection or fitness for a particular purpose. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded. If any provision is unenforceable, the remainder continues in effect.

Governing law
